MALENY Dairies hosted almost 60 disabled children and their carers at a morning tea and farm tour last month.

Special needs children from across the Coast enjoyed pancakes, scones and lots of milk before meeting the new twins Curds and Whey as well as the rest of the farm animals.

The Maleny Dairies Dancing Cows hoofed on out to meet the kids and made sure everyone got a warm hug.

Maleny Dairies publicity officer Suzie Erdbrink said the event was a huge success.

"We put on this day to celebrate reaching more than 2000 Facebook followers," Suzie said.

"We entice a lot of visitors to the Hinterland through our Facebook page and if they come up to visit the dairy then hopefully they will spend money in town as well.

"There was so much excitement from the kids. The highlight for me personally on the day was seeing the children's faces when the cows came dancing out."
