Showgirl spirit shines
THE blonde bombshell from Clifton, Kylie Fiechtner, is ready to show Warwick why she should be crowned Warwick Showgirl for 2012.
Having lived in the Rose City for the past five years, the 19 year old said she may not be Warwick born and bred, but she certainly called it her home and was ready to get involved.
"I would be a good representative because I will actually show people what's happening and how to get the community together," Miss Fiechtner said.
She said she was not going to enter the competition until a friend mentioned it to her.
"I was at the hairdressers and she said 'why don't you go in this' and then she called me the next day and made sure I was doing it," Miss Fiechtner said.
"I think I would make a good showgirl because I am a person who gets out and helps people and it's a good opportunity to get into the community."
Miss Fiechtner said she would host a party this weekend for her fundraising event.
"I will be throwing a Nutrimetics party hopefully this Sunday, but I'm still trying to organise everything," she said.
Although she hasn't engaged in any charity or community work just yet, Miss Fiechtner hoped to get involved with Akooramak in the near future.
If crowned Warwick Showgirl, she said she wanted to get more people involved with the show.
"We need to get heaps more people to come to the show," she said.
