Census data paints an updated picture of the Sunshine Coast
AN updated social snapshot of the Sunshine Coast Region has been released today.
Data from the 2011 Census has painted a picture of exactly who makes up the region's demographic.
According to results the population is now 306,909 with a median age of 42.
There are 86,304 families with an average of 1.8 children.
There are 141,954 private dwellings with an average of 2.5 people her household, with a median weekly household income of $1010 a week.
