SHE'S bright, she's bubbly, she's from Bundy and, if she gets her way, she's coming to a screen near you.

Nineteen-year-old Casey Bartholdt is one of only 20 people in the state to make the finals for Channel V's annual presenter search.

"This has always been a dream of mine," Miss Bartholdt said.

"I've always wanted to do something in the music industry that's not performing."

Miss Bartholdt had a brush with the stars on Tuesday as part of the audition process when she interviewed The Veronicas.

"We were given two bios of bands and when we got there, it was The Veronicas," she said.

"I was so nervous but it was so exciting.

"I think I did okay."

The teen has plenty of support with her biggest fan, her grandfather, even driving her down to the audition in Brisbane.

Miss Bartholdt said she would now have to wait two to three weeks before the state winners would be announced.

Miss Bartholdt is no stranger to success in music competitions, winning the Optus Sound Scribe competition in 2010.

"I've always had a passion for music," she said.
